In some instances, direct tank removal is not a practical solution. This occurs in cases where the UST is under the foundation of a building or installed in close proximity to a structure or highway. In these situations, AEI performs an in situ-closure upon approval of the local agencies involved. This is accomplished by triple rinsing the tank in place and filling it with inert slurry.
